fast. If you have not yet bought them make sure you do
because they will most likely be sold out by tomorrow
(Wednesday)!! So scrounge for your money and pay a

you do not want to miss this huge event that everyone
has worked so hard on.

Volunteers for Swims Shows in Miami Beach July 11-July14
Hello,
Once again I will be putting together the Volunteers which includes Dressers for the (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week) Swims Shows in Miami Beach July 11-July14, July 10 is a prep day. Need volunteers for various duties such as stuffing gift bags, dressing, and setting up Front of House/ Backstage and Sponsor assistance
Contacting you early, since I know the quarter ends in a few weeks and starts again right before the Swim Shows start.
I’ll be following up with the proper paperwork of schedules and as soon as I get more information from the NY office. Planning on 2 shifts per day 4pm – 9pm / 6 pm –11pm (this might change) ranging 20-40 volunteers per shift depending on Designer line up.
Thank you in advance for your help in recruiting the Fashion Students with the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim Shows in July. Feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you think might be interested. The students can call me directly if they have any questions.

LAST CHANCE!!!!!! Garment Call Extended
Final garment call has been extended to Tuesday May 22nd @ 9 p.m. If you would like to submit a garment for consideration for the show, please have it ready by Tuesday evening. Garments must be submitted in a garment bag on a hanger with a garment sheet and a photo of the garment on a live model. Garment sheets are available in room 333.
We are accepting garments in all categories, especially streetwear/daywear, children's wear, men's wear, and evening wear/couture. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SUBMIT GARMENTS FOR THE SHOW!!!!!!!!
Model Fittings
Model fittings for the 2007 fashion show, Culture Shock, will be held on Saturday May 19th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 327 of the main building. The final fitting will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room 334 of the main building. Those models who have received emails should be in attendance. Those models who have received emails need to call Kahsandra Frazer, the Model Coordinator, to schedule a time to come in. Her phone number is 954-873-4539. If you have received an email, but do not come for fittings, we will assume that you are not interested in modeling for the show.
Female models, please bring a pair of high heels. All models need to have appropriate undergarments. Thank you all for your participation!

I truly hope that everyone got a chance to go to Material World!! It was better than ever. They had stands from all over the world as well as a new addition with the computer and machine side to it. I got to see up close the new Gerber software including V-Stitcher and all of the Juki machines too! The most important piece that I got from the trip,however, was a website that I wasn't too familiar with. www.stylecareers.com It is the LARGEST, FASHION ONLY job listing website on the internet!!
